In the skincare and beauty sectors, terms such as natural and organic are often used loosely and without regulation - so, how are we so confident that our goods are Natural and Organic? and what does that mean?

Well we start by only using the very best ingredients which nature has to offer! But further from the Baltic region which holds host to enormous biodiversity and increased potency from the dynamic climate creating potent and powerful extracts.

We strongly believe in transparency in our practices and our products. Therefore, that's why our products are COSMOS Eco-Cert ensuring ethical and sustainable practices throughout our entire process from farming to manufacturing.

Further these Eco-Cert Certifications certify that our products are Natural and Organic ensuring a minimum of 95% of ingredients are plant-based of which at least 10% are from organic farming.

Our Manufacturer is also a certified manufacturer with the the international standard known as ISO - 22716:2007.

We source ingredients from all over the world however the natural biodiverse environment of the Baltic region is our go to place to source the majority of our natural ingredients.

This region is unique as northern summers are brief, forcing plants and flowers a limited time to attract bees for pollination. Plants therefore channel their blooming energy into this short period, resulting in a harvest rich potent essential active ingredients for thriving in harsh climates.

Rest assured, every TwentyTwo product is free from; parabens, mineral oils, silicones, PEG, chemical UV filters, microplastics, synthetic fragrances, artificial colorants, and other questionable ingredients.

Ascorbyl Palmitate is a natural and stable oil-soluble form of vitamin C, produced by blending ascorbic acid with palmitic acid.

Its inclusion in our products is for its astounding ability to keep skin healthy and antioxidant benefits.

All the acids used throughout Twentytwo products are naturally derived and a key active ingredient to ensure hydration and nourishment to your skin.

Our most common naturally active acids are:

• Palmitic Acid
• Stearic Acid

Serums and Face oils are both valuable additions to a natural skincare routine, yet they serve distinct purposes.

Serums, with their water-based formulations crafted to deliver concentrated doses of active ingredients such as vitamins, antioxidants and hyaluronic acid, targeting specific skin concerns like fine lines, hyperpigmentation and acne.

Face oils, have a larger molecule size than serums and provide deep hydration and nourishment to the skin, fortifying its barrier and imparting essential fatty acids for overall skin health.

The incorporation of both serums and face oils into your skincare routine can provide a well-rounded approach to achieving radiant, nourished and healthy-looking skin.

Not all alcohols are created equal, – each ingredient in formulas has been carefully evaluated to ensure it is safe to use.

​Please check the INCI ingredient list for each product to find out it contains alcohol and/or alcohol derivatives.
However, majority of products have some traces of alcohol since most plant extracts (except in oil products) are made using alcohol-based extraction methods.

So even though there might be no alcohol and/or alcohol derivatives listed in INCI, we can’t claim the products are actually alcohol-free.

Our formulas never contain palm oil as a standalone ingredient, yet palm oil derivatives may be part of another ingredient and are found in most products (such as palmitic acid), albeit in very low amounts.​

All ingredients containing palm oil derivatives are RSPO (Roundtable on Sustainable Palm Oil) certified, indicating that plantations are sustainably cultivated.

We do not use any synthetic fragrances.

All our fragrance blends are 100% vegan, meticulously chosen using natural aromatic substances, with no phthalates or other artificial preservatives used.

The major allergens in the products are Limonene, Linalool, Citral, Citronellol, Geraniol, Eugenol. The detailed product ingredients can be found on the product page, ensure to compare with the list for potential allergens.

The only sulfate that we allow in our products is sodium coco sulfate (SCS), which is approved by the third-party certification organisation COSMOS.

SCS does not penetrate the epidermis and is far less irritating than the often-used sodium lauryl sulfate (SLS).

All Twentytwo Skincare products are made and manufactured in Latvia in the EU.

Yes. Unless you have a sensitivity to SPF, we absolutely recommended to use and integrate SPF into your skincare routine at the beginning of your day.
